How to Become a Member

What is a Church?

Although we often think of a church as a building, it's much more than a place to worship.  It is a community of pople called and joined together to do God's work.  Christians unite to share love, home and a sense of purpose.  It is also the body of Christ, giving life to Christ's presence in the world.

Why would I join a church?

The short answer is so you can discover your faith, and live it more fully.  The church needs you and you need the church.  You have special gifts to care with others.  Also, as a church member, you'll be better able to love God, other people and yourself in an atmosphere of giving and receiving.  Being a member of a church help you grow as a Christian, with guidance, support, and inspiration.  You will also learn how to better serve God in our world today.
